Deep Blue joins the CCAM Association to support the future of connected and automated mobility in Europe

Deep Blue has officially joined the CCAM Association, the European not-for-profit organisation representing the private side of the Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) Partnership.

The Association brings together companies, research organisations and mobility stakeholders working to support the development of safe, sustainable and user-centred automated mobility systems across Europe, contributing to the implementation of the European Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for CCAM.

For Deep Blue, joining the Association represents an important step in strengthening its role within the European ecosystem of automated and multimodal mobility research and innovation.

Deep Blue brings to the CCAM community a long-standing experience in Human Factors, safety, Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), and the integration of advanced automation into complex socio-technical systems. Over the years, the company has contributed to several European projects relevant to the CCAM vision, including ORCHESTRA, CONDUCTOR, PANACEA, ReSKILLING, PULSE and TRAVELWISE, addressing topics such as societal readiness, user acceptance, multimodal traffic management, human-centric automation and coordinated mobility systems.

The official acceptance of Deep Blue into the Association took place during the CCAM General Assembly held on 20 May 2026 in Budapest, within the framework of TRA2026 – Transport Research Arena, one of Europe’s leading conferences on transport research and innovation. Deep Blue was represented at the General Assembly by Paola Lanzi, Head of Automated and Multimodal Transport, and François Brambati, Senior Consultant.

“Automated mobility is not only a technological transition” says Paola Lanzi. “It is also an organisational, social and human transformation. Joining the CCAM Association means contributing to a European vision where automation is designed around people, safety and real operational needs.”

Deep Blue looks forward to collaborating with the CCAM community and contributing its expertise to the future development of connected, cooperative and automated mobility in Europe.
