DESCRIPTION:
ADAPT aims at developing data driven models for predicting, at strategic horizons, the traffic demand across Europe. The main goal is to enable a better strategic planning that includes a measure of flexibility for the airspace users. The models results are then assessed tactically from a network and flight centric perspectives and visualized for exploring end-users benefits.

THINGS TO KNOW:

  1. ADAPT is using historical and current data to produce traffic volume predictions useful to avoid demand/capacity issues that causes delays during the operations
  2. We are adapting and using the ELSA models for tactically assess our results from the network point of view.

OUR ROLE:

Deep Blue leads the dissemination activities and the data visualization task.
We are leading the data visualization task to find the best ways of presenting the models results to the end-users in order to elicit and exploit the benefits of the ADAPT solution.
We are in charge of identifying and analysing the user needs and refining them into concrete requirements for the visualization solution.
